Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman was an American female gymnast, and captain for The US female Olympic gymnastics 2012 Fierce Five team and in the year 2016. the Final Five. At the 2012 Olympics she won gold in both floor for the team and in individual events. The bronze medal was awarded through using the balance bar. This made her the Olympics gymnast with the most medals. The gold medal she won during the Olympics in 2016 was the second consecutive gold for the United States team. This made her, and teammate Gabby one of the very first Americans to be able to complete this feat. Also, silver medals were awarded in both the all-around individual and floor exercises. She took a three-year break between the two Olympics to not compete in gymnastics. In addition she was a part of two gold medal-winning American gymnastics teams. When she was just 2 She began learning gymnastics. The sport she loves the most is floor workouts. Aly is a member of an organization called the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization to commemorate her grandmother who died due to cancer. Aly plans on pursuing a career in fashion and would like to expand her line of signature leotards and socks later on. Fierce is due to be released at the end of summer.
